Enjoyment from the Long off Season

Everyone  enjoying the weather conditions we are blessed with for cycling. Great participation by the group for our rides .Ron Dumais and Carl day viewing new rides of the season.

 Saturday brought members to join the Hero Highway ride from CFB Trenton to Whitby , well over 2000 motorcycles strong
.

Sunday warm temp. and little over cast made for ideal riding conditions , a small water fall tour in the Beaver Valley with our lunch stop at the look out south of Kimberly..
The fuel tax Lotto was appreciated by Heather for the second time in a row  ticket #263354.
The members wish Blanka a successful recovery back to riding , with us all.

OUR WEEKLY RIDES

have great chapter response to our season rides ,  the weather has a lot to  play in good turn outs.

Wednesday , saw members sharpening there skill mauves using the same circuit the OPP use in training their motorcycle officers.

Sunday ,  great weather and appreciated ride by all to ParkWood Estate Oshawa , of the McLaughlin family the founder of General Motors . Our pack your lunch stop was on the shores of Lake Ontario at Lakeview Park Oshawa .
After a fuel stop the ride home was lead by a rocket girl on a Harley.

Greats Rides With Assume Weather

 

The Wednesday evening ride to Gravenhurst there first bike night of the season, the rain that was forecasted did not transpire and warm temp made for a well attended cruise night. Also treated to coffee when returned to Orillia by chapters 1st officer Ron Hare the winner of the 50-50 draw               

  

Saturday was the Huronia Ride for Dad, a great chapter participated ride with everyone having a fun time, some staying for the steak dinner at the Orillia Legion to round off the ride.

Sundays curious ride to The Radicle Rooster was answered when arrived to the Barn full of Mexican lawn , garden and wall art .Followed by a cross country mystery ride stopping at the Dufferin County  Museum for a pack your lunch stop.  The fuel tax lotto ticket # 263313 won by Steve Shane.

Weekend Rides Sucssefully Enjoyed

Ride to St Jacobs Mennonites market Saturday , although a little chilly requiring warm clothing, was well enjoyed. Followed by full Sun for the return trip. With stops at Placards Peanut outlet ,the covered bridge ( known as the kissing bridge. And view of the wind generators west of Shelburne.

Sundays ride to Barhead / tavern always a favorite stop , great food and laughs. Riding through the Maxwell area saw a parade of Mennonites horse drawn buggy's returning home from worship .Had an extended view of the Nottawasaga Bay while descending down the escarpment behind pavement marking crew. Coffee stop in Elmvale before the completion of the homeward trip. The fuel tax lotto winning ticket # 263281 John Whittingham
