First of the winter Breakfast.

Great turnout last Sunday for the first of the winter breakfast get togethers at Just Eddies. Only one bike in the parking lot but it's not the end of the riding season yet. So stay tuned for more riding days to come during the month of November.

One more Ride

Last Sunday turned out to be a sunny but cool day to ride up to Bracebridge and around Lake Muskoka with a lunch stop in Bala for just three riders.

Dodging rain showers on a cool Sunday ride.

Looks like a small group having a great time on a Sunday Ride that turned out a little cool. Managed to stay dry though on a day that had a less than perfect weather forecast.

2013 Fall Color Ride

We were a little late this year to get the full advantage of our beautiful Fall Colors in Algonquin Park but last Wednesday turned out to be one of the more memorable rides of this season. The day started off a little cool but warmed up by mid morning with clear skies and calm winds. Little traffic to contend with added to the pleasure along with recent re-paving of hwy. 60 which made the trip like riding on a pool table. Thanks to Ron for leading this great ride, Bud and Doreen for taking care of us from the rear and many of you for the pictures.

Getting a "head start" on the Fall Color Ride.

Last Sunday was sunny and warm and an ideal day for previewing the Fall colors along some of the best riding roads we have in this area. Lunch was in a pretty crowded restaurant in Dorset, lots of other bike clubs, but service was excellent and with a smile. Ride continued through to Dwight and down the beautiful Portage Road to Baysville. Thanks to Ron Hare for the excellent ride he organized for us and also the following pictures.

What a Weekend ????

Last Saturday was the Midland Toy Ride which turned out to be one lonely ride for the few that showed up for a good soaking. It was raining when we left Orillia, rained harder as the day progressed, rained harder still on the Toy Ride, continued raining while eating a great lunch of bacon on a bun, then eased up for the ride back home, wouldn't you know it !!! Thanks to a hardy bunch that braved the weather.

Next day was a complete turnaround weather wise, mostly dry although cool, to say the least. Fantastic ride with a real nice bunch of people stopping at Norland for an excellent lunch. Then the big surprise came with an invite back to Ron and Jan's home for coffee and some good music with Ron on guitar and Dave on drums. Where did all this talent come from ????  Good work guys and thanks so much for the hospitality. Thanks also to Ron Hare for organizing the ride and the pictures.

Fish n Chips anyone.

Another great turnout on a dismal day for our Sunday ride to the fish ladder in Thornberry. Seemed like fish n chips was the choice of the day in the Bridge Restaurant. Good food and even better company. Thanks to Bev and Brian for the pictures.

Friday the 13 th. in Port Dover

Best thing about Friday the 13 th. in Port Dover is the Ride down there and back. Found some roads I'd never been on before and all the turn around's in gravel lots made for a little extra excitement. Great ride Ron including the reserved parking just for our Chapter when we arrived in Port Dover.
Slightly frosty by the time I arrived home at 10.30 pm with 636 kms. on the clock. Not a bad days total. Thanks to Blanka for the pictures. Where does she find these people ???
